- Coaches must be reasonable when scheduling games and practices remembering that young players have other interest and obligations.
- Coaches will teach players to play fairly and to respect the rules, officials and their opponents.
- Coaches will ensure that all players get equal instruction and support.
- Coaches must schedule the players on behalf of the team, not on the players or personal behalf, ensuring every player gets equal opportunity.
- Coaches will not ridicule or yell at players for making mistakes for performing poorly, remembering that children play to have fun and must be encouraged to have confidence in themselves.
- Coaches must make sure that equipment and facilities are safe and match the players’ ages and abilities.
- Coaches must consistently display high standards of behavior and experience and be a role model for players, parents and spectators.
- Coaches must obtain proper training and continue to upgrade my coaching skills.
- Coaches must maintain and enhance the dignity and self-esteem of the team and other Individuals by: i. Demonstrating respect to individuals regardless of body type, physical characteristics, athletic ability, gender, ancestry, colour, ethnic or racial origin, nationality, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, religion, religious belief, political belief, disability or economic status.
- Coaches must refrain from any verbal or physical action that may diminish the integrity of the Hanover soccer club or an individual.
- Coaches will conduct themselves in an appropriate way and to behave suitably as a coach, Leaving all personal conflicts or preferences aside.
- Coaches must adhere to all guidelines laid down within the constitution and the rules of the Manitoba Soccer Association.
