Below are the areas in greatest need right now.


Positions Available

  • Run and manage team practices and the team bench at games.
    • Additional training is available for coaches looking to improve their knowledge of the game (please inquire at info@hanoversoccer.ca)
  • Communicate with players the schedule and any changes

The Secretary position is responsible for mainly administration organization.

Some key aspects are, but not limited to those listed below:

  • Send out Board Meeting Agenda, taking meeting minutes, preparing for next meeting, maintaining action lists for Board.
  • Collect Mail and distribute as required. Assist with meeting and event preparations.
  • Maintaining club records, coordinating with other administrators, relaying information to the appropriate parties including the board.

The Treasurer position is responsible for ensuring all debits and credits are dealt with in a timely manner.

Working with the Director of Finance, the Treasurer will assist in the preparation of annual financial documents.

This position will be entrusted as one of the signors on Club financial documents.

The communication coordinator will be responsible for website, social media, and direct club updates.

Including but not limited to, league updates, events and promotions.

This position might require in person attendance at some events.

Reporting to the Secretary.

This position will be responsible for the coordinating of three Age group organizers within their the Mini soccer program. Ability to use our online registration program and delegate players to their appropriate divisions.

Contacting potential coaches and assigning them to teams/groups.

Workload is March and April for Spring play and for those interested we have a smaller winter program which starts in late October. This program is primarily ran by club coaches.

This position requires the individual to organize the list of registrants (players) into groups and connect with the volunteer coaches and guide them through the process of operations of the program.

Will work closely with the Mini Coordinator and the Technical Director.

Workload will be March and April. Our winter Futsal Program is much less involved during to lower numbers indoors, workload late September/October.

This position will be responsible for the coordinating of three Age group organizers within the Youth categories. Ability to use our online registration program and delegate players to appropriate divisions, communicate with the EYSL and WYSA regarding registration of teams.

Workload is March and April for Spring/Summer play and September/October for winter play.

This position requires the individuals to organize the list of registrants U11 and U13 position 1, position 2 will organize u15 and U18.

Using the registration list, create teams with coaches in each of these categories, working closely with the Youth soccer coordinator and the Technical Director.

Workload is March and April for Spring and summer play, our winter program is slowly growing in number workload is late September/October. Club coaches run the winter programs.
