As a licensed Soccer Club we provide a SAFE, FUN, AGE and STAGE appropriate learning environment for every player.
IMPORTANT: In addition to registering with Hanover Soccer Club (HSC), all players are required to register with the Manitoba Soccer Association (MSA), as detailed below.
HANOVER SOCCER CLUB (HSC)
Mini Soccer
Ages U4-U9 | Born 2015-2020
The Mini Soccer Program runs the months of May and June with all activity taking place at the Steinbach Soccer Park.
2024 Season Fee: CAD $80
- U4-U5 play Mon and Wed – 6pm-6:50pm.
- U6-U7 play Tue and Thurs – 6pm-6:50pm.
- U8-U9 play Tue and Thurs – 7pm-8pm.
Youth Soccer
Ages U11-U18 | Born 2006-2014
Once players reach 10+ years of age they have expanded options for play.
There are two primary streams: EYSL Recreational Soccer and WYSA league, as follows.
EYSL Recreational Soccer (Eastman Youth Soccer League)
Community teams play in the Eastman Youth Soccer League (EYSL).
Teams play May-June against rural teams in the southeast region. Games could be as far north as Beausejour or as far south as Vita.
Teams will take turns traveling to other communities for games and hosting games in Steinbach.
2024 Season Fee: CAD $100
- U10-U11 play on Tue/Thurs.
- U12-U13 plays on Mon/Wed.
- U14-U15 plays on Tue/Thurs.
- U16-U17-U18 plays on Mon/Wed.
All games will start at 7 PM.
WYSA League
(Winnipeg Youth Soccer Association)
The WYSA league has several streams according to different skill levels and age:

Recreational (U9-U18)
Administered through community centers, recreational soccer outdoor season goes from May to July.
Developmental (U9-U12)
Offers U9-U12 players an opportunity for increased commitment with a single-season model that runs from April to November.
Premier (U13-U18)
Offers U13-U18 players an opportunity for increased commitment with a single-season model that runs from April to November.
Teams who enter to play in WYSA are typically comprised of players that show interest in desiring a more competitive environment and a longer season.
Please note that this program may involve tryouts for team selection and the possibility of combined age groups. Additionally, registration costs are substantially higher compared to other programs.
A greater level of commitment is expected from participants, as teams typically practice one to three times a week, in addition to playing one game per week.

Adult (Senior Soccer)
18+
Hanover Soccer has several Adult men’s Teams.
50% of games are played in Steinbach, the remainder is played in the surrounding communities and Winnipeg.
Games happen throughout the week and most teams have 1-2 practices every week.
The season runs May-September.
Registration dates to be defined.
MANITOBA SOCCER ASSOCIATION (MSA)
In addition to registering with HSC, all players must also register with MSA.

This covers your child’s insurance in case of injury, so please pay it promptly when you receive it.
